A new company, Field Irrigation, has been formed incorporating horticultural irrigation specialists Field GB and irrigators Avoncrop following the acquisition of Field GB from K & S Fumigation Services.
The current Avoncrop irrigation team of Clive Earle, Wim van Varik and Mary Earle will join Field Irrigation with immediate effect, alongside Darrell Taylor and George Darling, previously of Field GB.
Chris O’nions, managing director of Field Irrigation, said: “The merging of these two specialist divisions from highly regarded and long-standing horticultural businesses is an exciting prospect. Our customers will benefit from an enhanced service, with additional technical resource and expertise available on an ongoing basis.
“We will continue to work closely with our supplier partners to ensure our customers gain access to an extensive range of irrigation equipment that is supported and promoted by a technically proficient sales team.”
