Iranian exports on the rise

Iran has exported 386,000 tonnes of fruits in the first eight months of its current crop year, a 17.79 per cent increase year on year.

According to the country’s ministry of agriculture Jihad, the Middle Eastern country produced 16 million tonnes of fruit during the period starting March 21.

In the last full year, 734,000t of Iranian product, valued at more than £121m was exported.
