Barrie Hunt has been appointed marketing manager for the agricultural supply company Interfarm UK Ltd.
Hot on the heels of Stuart Sutherland’s recent appointment as business development manager, Hunt takes up a newly created position for the expanding company as he rejoins the company.
John Martin, managing director for Interfarm UK Ltd, said: “Barrie is a highly experienced manager who has enjoyed a diverse career in sales, technical and marketing with a number of leading crop protection companies. In particular we welcome his experience and expertise gained over the years and we are sure he will add significantly to our continuing success.”
Barrie Hunt has over twenty five years experience working in the agrochemical industry throughout the UK and Europe. Since gaining a BSc (Hons) in Applied Biology from the University of Hertfordshire, he has held a number of increasingly senior commercial, technical and marketing roles with key agrochemical manufacturers and suppliers, including Bayer CropScience, Cheminova and Monsanto.
