Innovations lined up for Foodex Meatex

Foodex Meatex has reported that many exhibitors will be using this year’s show as a launch pad for new products and services.

More than 50 exhibitors will be making their debut at the show. New exhibitors to the show include Heathpak from Newport, Wales who specialises in packaging for the food industry. Heathpak will be launching two new machines for the UK, which offer solutions for tray erecting and filling.

Foodex chief executive Steve Bax is pleased with how things are shaping up for the event. He said: “We are delighted to have so many exhibitors this year. In addition, the new feature areas will help those with specific business needs, such as food safety and recruitment.

One company returning to the show is cool-move who will be exhibiting a Lecapitaine insulated box-body. Its insulation qualities make it ideal for those requiring deep frozen transport. The unit is 3.28 metres long, an internal length of 3.05m and internal width of 2.05m. This body is exhibited on a Volkswagen LT46. Standard features include aluminium cappings, side under run bars and an all -important safety feature - an internal door release panic button.
