Zenith Group, an exporter based in Calcutta, is to set up a 10-acre agri-horticulture complex in West Bengal to produce organic produce.

The Indian government has allocated ten acres of land for the project in its Falta Zone, a special duty-free economic area that provides operational support to ensure exports remain competitive for cost and quality.

Production will start in February and will use organic manure to grow fruit, vegetables and flowers, which will then be processed and packaged in the zone before being exported to organic markets in Europe, the US, Singapore and Thailand.
