Ilex Organics is set to launch its most comprehensible range of biodegradable mulching films at Fruit Focus next week.
The BioAgri range, which was developed to address the needs of large-scale commercial growers, is made from non-GM starch, BioAgri and breaks down entirely by microbial action, leaving soil clean and residue-free.
The collection will include BioAgri mulch in a range of widths and weights, providing breakdown rates to suit all soil types and crops from short-cycle salads to slower growing fruit and vegetables, as well as BioAgri reflecta, a heavyweight white film for use in glasshouses and polytunnels, and BioAgri clear, as the biodegradable replacement for conventional clear plastic perforated mulching films.
The firm will present its specialist range of Soil Association-certified liquid inputs on stand number 66.
