Ilapak Limited has unveiled its PC controlled Vegatronic 2000, which offers packaging flexibility, improved sealing quality and a more robust modular construction.
The vertical, form, fill and seal packaging machine is capable of producing a wider range of pack styles including pillow packs, block bottom packs, stabilo packs, three-sided sachets and doy packs.
Among the new features now incorporated as standard are nip rollers with load cell for film tension control, a new design of film and drive mechanism and a 100-program memory will fault diagnostics software.
The Vegatronic 2000 can produce up to 90 bags a minute in sizes between 60-370mm in width and up to 800mm in length using a variety of heat sealable and polyethylene films.
