The initiative will run another clinic on November 14 in Spalding, Lincolnshire and has been organised by the department for environment, food and rural affairs.

The clinics will offer information on applying for grants available under the England Rural Development Programme such as the organic farming scheme and the processing and marketing grant. They will also offer advice on a range of other services and schemes open to rural businesses.

'This enables growers to find out more about the England Rural Development Programme in an environment they're comfortable in,' said HRI Kirton manager Robin Wood.
