A huge line-up of highly respected chefs are set to attend the Bournemouth Hotel and Catering Show’s gourmet dinner, at the Bournemouth Highcliff Marriott Hotel, March 11.

The annual event, in association with the Wessex Salon Culinaire and the Craft Guild of Chefs, is sponsored by the region’s largest independent chartered accountants and business advisors, Princecroft Willis LLP and The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), and will attract guests from across the hospitality, catering, leisure and tourism industries.

Top chefs in attendance this year include TV chef Silvena Rowe, who regularly appears on BBC One’s Saturday Kitchen and has recently finished work on a cookbook devoted to Russian cuisine. Other leading chef guests making an appearance include Chris Corbin, who has been the driving force behind some of London’s best-loved restaurants, such as The Ivy, for more than 20 years, and Chris Galvin who began his 30 year career working alongside Antony Worrall Thompson.

Designed by Eugene Cartwright, executive chef at the Bournemouth Highcliff Marriott, the menu will include the best local produce, as part of a four-course, fine-dining experience. Eugene has worked with a host of high profile chefs within the industry and he has represented the UK as part of the British Culinary Team, winning gold, silver and bronze medals at home and abroad.

Cartwright said: “This is my second year cooking for this prestigious event and I’m delighted to have been invited back by the show organisers. Local produce will be at the top of this year’s menu and this will complement the Local Produce Area at the show, which is a major feature aiming to inspire people to learn more about locally produced food.”
