Contract catering company Host Contract Management has been awarded two internationally recognised quality assurance accreditations.

The implementation of quality systems has led to the company gaining ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO 14001 for environmental management status.

The accreditations took just over three months to achieve, with Host passing the two standards simultaneously at the first attempt.

Host quality and HSE director Mike Chubb said: “We are delighted to announce we have now got these two important accreditations.

“Our quality and environmental management processes are active across all Host sites. It’s our intention to roll out the formal ISO internal audit process to ensure their entire business community is working towards achieving these quality and environmental business objectives.”

Host currently operates more than 75 contracts in the business and industry, education and healthcare sectors and employs more than 550 staff.
