Hishtil Nurseries, Israel’s largest producer of vegetable plants, officially opened its first nursery in South Africa this week with the participation of South Africa’s minister of agriculture and the ambassador of Israel to South Africa. Hishtil’s focus at the new facility will be on the production and marketing of grafted vegetable plants, based on Israeli expertise, for developing the local market.
