Healthy opportunities in the school meals sector are set to be the focus of a conference next month.
The Healthier School Meals conference, organised for a second year by Marketing Week, has been designed to explore and discuss positive initiatives to overcome obstacles, improve eating standards and satisfy children.
Topics for discussion will include creating menus that work, with Sodexho Education Services talking about the work they’ve been doing to reflect student attitudes to school meals.
Food service leaders Brakes will be discussing ways in which innovation can offer healthy alternatives in the school canteen and Dr Louis Levy from the Food Standards Agency will talk about the latest survey results on school meals.
The conference takes place at Lords Cricket Ground on October 13. For tickets and further information, contact Jo Bance on 0207 970 4346.
