Radoslaw Kozlowski recieves his award from Lynda Armstrong of the BSC

North of England catering wholesaler Total Foodservice has been honoured for its health and safety approach at the International Safety Awards.

Total collected the company award, which recognises its commitment to workplace health and safety, while its representative Radoslaw Kozlowski took home the title of International Health and Safety Champion.

Kozlowski’s achievements include developing a nearly hazard-free working environment by focusing on a number of safety features, including bailer checks, pallet truck checks and plant checks.

Kozlowski’s manager, Paul Nowell, operations director at Total Foodservice, said: “Radoslaw is hugely deserving of this accolade. He constantly shows complete dedication to not only executing and promoting the stringent health and safety regulations the company has in place, but also suggesting sensible amendments to those policies and managing the change throughout the business.

“We were absolutely delighted when he was announced as the overall winner.”
