The HDRA has announced its plans for this year's Apple Day.
The event will take place at Ryton Organic Gardens on October 12. Activities planned include: apple identification and advice, apple tasting and pressing, juice and cider tasting, preserving, pasteurising and drying your harvest and apple themed lunched will be available from the organic restaurant.
