G's Marketing has created two focused business units and Jonathan Tremayne has been appointed as managing director of G's Fresh Produce business unit. This division focuses on the company's whole-head produce business and will be run from the Hasse Road, Soham site.

And recently recruited Linda Allen has been appointed md of the G's Prepared Produce business unit which will cover all of G's processing businesses. She becomes responsible for the company's Barway site as well as G's Fresh Beetroot and G's Processing at the Soham site.

Both Tremayne and Allen will be working with the same customers in their different areas of responsibility.

John Shropshire's role as head of the group has become that of chairman and chief executive and he will retain responsibility for all production operations including those of the group's Spanish business. "The new structure creates the opportunity for added focus for growers, customers and consumers," said Shropshire. "This enables the G's Group to continue to expand and build on its vertically integrated grower base."
