G’s bares all with UK salads

Major supplier G’s Marketing has bolstered its convenience brand, fresh & naked, with new products and a website.

The firm has increased the bag weight of its fresh & naked mix salads from 60g to 90g at a round £1 price point.

The solo mixes of rocket and lamb’s lettuce remain in the range at 60g for 80p.

G’s has also extended the fresh & naked brand into radish with a 240g offering at 70p.

The radish and extended salad lines hit around 200 Tesco stores last month.

The company’s Living Leaves have also returned to the range after a successful test launch last summer, while a new website launched this month to allow more interaction with consumers and relate brand values.

G’s marketing director Anthony Gardiner told FPJ: “We are delighted with the ongoing success of the fresh & naked brand, which continues to receive strong emotional appeal from shoppers.”
