Masterchef and Veg Talk presenter Gregg Wallace has been confirmed as a speaker at the fourth British Leafy Salads Conference.
Preparations are well underway for the event, to be held on Wednesday, November 19 at the Peterborough & Cambridge Suites at the East of England Showground, Peterborough.
The British Leafy Salads Association, which represents leafy salad growers, both outdoor and glasshouse, is organising the day.
Along with Wallace, other guest speakers include Professor David Hughes, emeritus professor of food marketing at Imperial College, London.
The theme for this year is ‘Which Way Now’ and presentations will address future marketing and technical requirements for the industry.
A trade exhibition will run alongside the conference, which will attract growers, marketing specialists, technical personnel and produce buyers.
