Greenyard Fresh UK has announced a collaboration with Noisy Snacks that will boost rollout of its new nut brand.
Noisy Snacks launched in 2018 with a range of craft beer-inspired peanut snacks, developed as an 'artisan peanut kit' with flavoured seasonings that pair with different craft beers. The flavourings help to elevate craft beer characteristics, note and flavour palates within the beers, according to the brand.
One of Noisy Nuts' USPs is offering choice in how to season the peanuts. Consumers can pour the whole pack of seasoning in and shake the pot, giving a strong flavour, or season as they go to fit with their beer drinking tastes.
Five 85g variants are initially available: Chilli and Lime, pairs with IPA; Meaty Beef, pairs with stout; Bacon Jalapeno, pairs with porter; Pickled Onion, pairs with lager; and Thai Sweet Chilli, pairs with pale ale.
Under the tie-up Greenyard will assist in supporting NPD launches and packaging development, as well as introducing the brand to multinational supermarkets and offering packing and distribution support.
Noisy Snacks founder Noel Allen said: “I am absolutely delighted to be working with Greenyard Fresh. As an international supplier of fruit and vegetables with sales companies, distribution centres, representative offices and sourcing partners all over the world this represents an unparelled opportunity for growth for the Noisy Snacks brand. We’ve had a fantastic first launch year within the buoyant craft beer market and we are now able and ready to take the brand to the next level. We look forward to welcoming new customers to Team Noisy.”
Greenyard Fresh UK's managing director Alan Forrester added: “We recognised the energy and creativity of the Noisy Nuts brand and are looking forward to facilitating that excitement and growth on an international scale. Within the early stages of the project we are already investigating new innovative variants and concepts to provide wider category and market opportunities, with retail, foodservice and on-trade intertest expressed to date. We have high aspirations for Noisy Noel and the brand and looking forward to jointly developing the sector.”
