Last week Santegoets received the prestigious Computerworld Honours Programme Award for agriculture, energy and the environment in Washington DC . The system he developed for The Greenery rationalises the group's harvest prediction, shipment and other supply chain information in one application co-ordinating information flow on over 100 products between the marketing group and its 4,000 growers. It is the first time a Dutch national has won the renowned international prize.
