"We are delighted with the attention and coverage that the salad report has gained so far," said Margreet van Harn, Greenery marketing director. "This is a long-term project and the report is only part of a strategy for salads we will be developing over the coming months."

The report has been praised by the Food Standards Agency and the Fresh Produce Consortium and more than 900 visitors have consulted the salad report section on the Greenery website.

A further 300 reports have been requested in the UK and 70 CD Roms from countries as far afield as Surinam and Iceland.
