The board of directors at The Greenery has announced that from November 5, it will take over the activities of Boers Holland and by integrating them into the business of exporters Disselkoen and Van Dijk will form a new business unit. The new business will operate under the name of Greenery International.

This business will cover all of the Greenery's export markets except the UK. This includes other European countries, North America and Japan.

In order to avoid confusion, the name of the Greenery's holding company, Greenery International, will be changed to The Greenery, thus enabling the use of the term 'international' for the company's new export business unit.

This means that as well as the new unit, The Greenery now has four other business units: Greenery Operations, Greenery Netherlands, Greenery UK and Greenery Retail, in addition to a number of other subsidiary companies and participation in others.

J Prins has been appointed director general of the new business.
