The new Tutti Frutti packs

Is it a grape? Is it a mango? M&S customers won’t need to decide, as the supermarket is introducing the ‘Grango’ as part of a new Tutti Frutti range of grapes.

The seedless, part-red varieties have large berries and tropical flavour, with the ‘Grango’ tasting like a mango. They are being sold from this week until the end of September, and are available in 200 stores at £1.50 for 230g.

The range has been produced by Murcian grower Enrique Moya, who has been producing table grapes since 1995 and supplying M&S since 2003.

“Being super sweet, we think the grapes will be a bit hit with children, and big kids who are topping up their 5 A DAY,” said M&S grape product developer Zeina Orfali. “And at only £1.50 a punnet, they’re an affordable healthy snack.

“We work closely with our growers to bring customers new and exciting flavours - the first trials of these grapes were back in 2007, and we’re delighted with the fruits of our labour.”
