Sainsbury’s is offering consumers the chance to buy its new non-staining golden beetroot.
The vegetable is described as having a more delicate flavour than red and is slightly sweeter.
Cathy Port, category manager, said: “Golden beetroot is so eye catching and is a great way to encourage kids to eat more vegetables, it's also packed with goodness too. The biggest bonus is that it doesn't stain like the red beetroot.”
