Terra Gina is the latest offering in the gerbera assortment, and its bright colouring and black heart bring imagination and interest to even the simplest bouquet or posy. Competing with other yellow, single mini gerberas on the market, Terra Gina's resistance to botrytis and excellent vase life set it apart from the rest. Terra Gina is named after Traugott Gerber, a German physician who collected many plants on the island of Jutland, where he died in 1742. Developments in packaging for gerbera have seen water boxes come on fast. These specially made boxes carry 20 stems upright in water and prevent drooping.
