A day of action against food waste is scheduled for 25 August in Munich to launch the Good Food March in Germany.

The initiative will travel throughout Europe and will bring together producers as well as consumers to call for a sustainable and equitable Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).

Teller Statt Tonne (Plate Not Waste) is being organised by a host of non-governmental organisations in Germany and beyond, and aims to raise awareness of increasing levels of waste in the food production system. The march will end in Brussels ends on 19 September.
