Becker Underwood Ltd a producer of speciality products for the agriculture, horticulture and forestry markets has appointed Karl Geary as technical sales representative with responsibility for sales in the UK and Ireland.
Becker Underwood is the leading producer of beneficial nematodes for pest control marketed under the NEMASYS® brand.
Geary brings more than 10 years experience to the post. Prior to joining Becker Underwood, Karl spent the last six years working for a leading manufacturer of fertilisers and pesticides with activities in the horticultural, amenity and retail sectors. He studied commercial horticulture at Writtle College.
"I'm looking forward to the new challenges and renewing old relationships and building new ones,” he said. “My job is to support Becker Underwood’s distributors in the field and expand our mutual business in all sectors.”
