Following huge fund raising efforts at the annual dinner dance in the summer, the Covent Garden Tenants Association this week handed over cheques for a total of £15,200 each to the Anthony Nolan Trust and Trinity Hospice. Another £3,000 had already been donated to drug-abuse charity Lifeline.
Both charities expressed their thanks for the cheques and the long-standing relationship they have with the market.
