Morrisons is cutting prices on a range of summer lines, including some fresh produce items, to offer consumers a basket of eight goods for just £4.

Fresh produce lines included in the offer include four fresh salad tomatoes for 50p, a 500g pack of Baby Pearl potatoes for 50p and an iceburg lettuce for 50p. Meat products and bread rolls have also seen prices slashed.

The deal comes just days after Morrisons announced it would also double the number of price cuts in its stores from 2,000 to 4,000.

Martyn Jones, Morrisons group trading director, said: “We know what our customers need and we are delivering it. These are great deals on some of our most popular summer products that will give customers a real boost."
