The Freight Transport Association (FTA) has published the 46th edition of its highly praised Yearbook of Road Transport Law for 2008. The book has been compiled and written by FTA’s team of transport legislation experts and provides essential guidance to help ensure legal compliance by commercial vehicle operators.

As well as providing the usual essential information designed to keep operators fully aware of all aspects of road transport legislation, this year’s 443-page yearbook incorporates several new sections. The new sections cover the new rules applicable from April 2007 regarding drivers’ hours and records; information on the London Low Emission Zone, which takes effect from February 2008; and the Driver CPC, which applies to commercial vehicle drivers from 2009.

The book is priced £35, however a free copy of the FTA Yearbook of Road Transport Law will be delivered to every FTA member by the end of January.
