The Freight Transport Association has launched another innovative product to help commercial vehicle operators manage the new Working Time Directive regulations that came into force on April 5.
The Road Transport Directive brings in the biggest change to the transport industry for over 40 years and the FTA has developed a simple poster to enable companies to monitor working time compliance effectively.
The FTA Working Time Poster is an easy to follow flowchart, which details the rules applicable for workers in the road transport industry and gives excellent guidance on what constitutes working time, periods of availability and obligations for both employers and employees.
