The Food Storage and Distrbution Federation (FDSF) will debate the challenges ahead for the UK’s food supply chain at its 2012 conference.
The conference, titled ‘Food Supply Chain Excellence - Opportunities and Challenges,’ will look at how the current economic climate will impact on the UK’s food industry as it looks to feed a growing a population whilst increasing export volumes.
Chris Sturman, FSDF CEO commented: “We’re delighted to announce the theme of the FSDF 2012 Conference.
“In particular, the sessions will review the way in which successful corporate supply chain structures bring food manufacturing and logistics functions together to provide excellent and profitable business solutions.”
FSDF’s 2012 conference, which runs in collaboration with the British Frozen Food Federation, takes place from 30 September to 1 October at Eastwood Hall, Nottingham.
