Fruity Faces gears up for back-to-school rush

Fruity Faces is gearing up for back-to-school trade, as an increasing number of parents look to the inflatable fruit cases to get their kids to eat healthily.

Inventor Paige Allen entered BBC2’s Dragons’ Den in search of investment last year, but the tycoons refused to invest in her company as all the profits from the sales of the Fruity Faces go to charity.

The firm has sold well over 250,000 of the fun inflatable fruit cases, which ensure fruit can be carried to school, clubs or activities, keeping it fresh and preventing it from bruising.

Sales of the range also raise vital funds for a children's charity in Africa, Romania and the UK.

Fruity Faces are available to purchase through mail order catalogues, online, or in high-street stores such as Woolworths, WH Smith, Wilkinsons, Blacks, school uniform shops and other independent stores.
