Fruit Logistica kicks off campaign

Fruit Logistica, the industry’s largest global trade event in Berlin, launches its global promotional campaign for the 2010 event this week.

The event will be promoted around the world through several channels, including participation at numerous industry meetings through its global network, which covers more than 120 countries.

Fruit Logistica will take place next year from February 3-5 at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds. The registration deadline for exhibitors is July 31, 2009.

To further assist companies who will be exhibiting with their preparations for the event, Fruit Logistica will be sending out an exhibitor guide containing hints and preparation guidelines on how to maximise their presence at the 2010 event.

From exhibition stand design and construction, to budgeting and personnel planning, the guide offers step-by-step pointers for a successful trade fair presence.

Freshconex 2010, the congress which runs alongside the fair, is responding to the development of niche products by increasing the number of product groups presented. New categories include pre-cooked fruits and vegetables, smoothies, fresh juices and other products that have a limited shelf life and require refrigeration.

Fruit Logistica 2009 attracted 50,224 visitors from 120 nations. A total of 2,283 exhibitors from 79 countries presented a complete market overview of the fresh produce sector's products and services.
