Fruit and vegetable crisp manufacturer Nim’s is celebrating another retail breakthrough after being selected to supply online supermarket Ocado.
Nim’s Fruit Crisps, which in September was listed at more than 60 Co-Op stores, will now be sold through the online retailer too. The company hopes this will double its weekly turnover by the end of the year.
Five of the manufacturer’s original lines will be sold via Ocado’s website, including apple, pear, pineapple, beetroot and parsnip, and tomato and cucumber.
The retailer will also supply Nim’s Kids range, as demand for healthy snacking alternatives rises.
The company’s founder Nimisha Raja said: “That’s two major breakthroughs for our brand in just two months and I’m sure this will act as a platform for further retail opportunities.”
