A local food union's 'Create A Fruit & Veg Masterpiece' art competition has reached its final stages.
The competition, by Produced in Kent and aimed at primary schoolchildren aged 5-11, is all about producing the best piece of Olympic-related art equipped only with fruit and vegetables.
Six children have beaten their way past over 250 entrants to reach the final that takes place on June 29.
The finalists will compete for gold, silver and bronze medals in the Individual and Group categories by recreating their artwork live in front of a panel of judges that includes food photographer Carl Warner.
