Produce World subsidiary From My Farm (FMF) has suspended its operations indefinitely after battling against difficult market conditions.

The Cambridgeshire-based business focused on local produce and supplied Morrisons and Waitrose. It was launched in 2008 and had a turnover of more than £1 million.

Produce World business unit director Jon Pollard told FPJ: “FMF has developed over the last two and a half years to become a recognised brand supplying the market with a fresh, regional produce offer, with the aim to supply to all regions across the country. Unfortunately due to the current economic climate we have decided to suspend our offer for the foreseeable future, but this is not to say we won’t be back, and therefore we would like to thank all our customers for supporting FMF, and please do continue to support local growers.”
