Businesses are gearing up for February’s annual Freshconex fresh-cut produce conference in Berlin by logging on in droves to the event’s website.

The site has attracted more than 159,000 visitors and recorded one million page views in less than a year.

Trade fair visitors have been using the trade show planner on the site to set up appointments and meeting times with exhibiting companies and plan their rounds prior to Freshconex on February 4-6, 2009.

Well-known companies, market leaders and new enterprises from more than 13 countries will present their company profiles, products and services at Freshconex.

Covering the entire sector, key topics range from fresh-cut products and processing technologies, to special product packaging, food quality and safety.

The re-designed site has a new, more precise search function, with a choice of filter functions and results that can be saved for future visits.

The site’s virtual marketplace offers trade visitors and industry experts an opportunity to learn about the products and services offered by the many different companies ahead of the event and set up business contacts directly on the website.
