South African processed and fresh-cut fruit business Fresh To Go - Fresh Cut (Pty) Ltd has recently rebranded and repositioned itself.

The firm started life in 2002, trading under Fruit Salad Health, but now with new ownership and management and the opening of a new facility at OR Tambo International Airport Johannesburg , the company is looking to secure key partnerships in the UK and Europe.

The firm’s Glen Moore said: “Range planning and product development is an integral part of our business.” Some of the company’s key categories include sub-tropical fruits - mango, pineapple, papaya, passionfruit - as well as citrus, melon, and deciduous fruit.

“We are also packing a number of exciting mixes using a range of fruits including pomegranates, berries and figs,” said Moore.

“The location of our new processing facility at Johannesburg airport is a huge strategic advantage, and we believe we are well positioned to become a progressive global player in the fresh-cut industry,” he added.
