Soft-fruit specialist AMS has appointed Tina Hinton as its new marketing executive. Hinton joins George Beach and Steve Sadler on the AMS marketing team.

Her background is in food retail having trained following graduation with Kwik Save. She also worked as a store manager, in distribution and No Frills buying for the chain. Up to last year she was as a marketing executive on the prepared salads and fruit category at Somerfield on behalf of its supplier Fisher Foods before taking time out to travel.

Hinton will work alongside AMS’s customer Asda to find ways of improving AMS sales to the retailer by focusing on in-store marketing, merchandising solutions and product quality and availability.
