Fresh Convenience Congress, a new annual conference event for the fresh produce convenience sector, is to take place on 22-24 June in London, United Kingdom.

Bringing together some 250 industry professionals at the Hilton Tower Bridge London, Fresh Convenience Congress provides key networking opportunities for business leaders and newcomers seeking to learn more about the fresh produce convenience sector in Europe.

Offering special rates for early registrations, delegates can register online at www.freshconveniencecongress.com by 30 May and save over 10 per cent on registration fees.

Organised by United Fresh Produce Association and Fresh Convenience Magazine, and supported by Freshconex, the Fresh Convenience Congress programme takes a detailed look at the key trends developing in this fast-growing industry.

Ed Garner, of Kantar Worldpanel (UK), will open the congress with a look at the convenience offer to foodservice and food retail, imparting valuable advice for professionals looking to better business prospects within the sector. The programme provides further insight into the sector by paying close attention to packaging and machinery innovation with Mauro Stipa of ILIP (Italy), before moving on to discuss the issue of tackling waste.

Bauke von Lenteren of Rijk Zwaan (the Netherlands) will also be leading the discussion over convenience and the seed business before the programme moves on to focus on catering for large-scale events.

Delegates also have the opportunity of making valuable contacts during the networking breaks, evening receptions and an optional study tour of fresh produce hub New Covent Garden Market, London.
