France’s national apple and pear association ANPP will play host to the Prognosfruit conference this year.
The World Apple & Pear Association will release apple and pear forecasts for the whole of Europe at the event, which will run from 2-4 August in Toulouse. Daniel Sauvaitre, president of the ANPP, said: “For 16 years, France has not hosted Prognosfruit. I am very pleased that the ANPP is hosting again this major annual event in the beautiful city of Toulouse.”
The conference will also review the latest global consumption trends and the juicing market. Technical visits in the Montauban apple region have been arranged and the event is being supported by Absoger, AgroFresh, Crédit Agricole, MAF and Univers de l’Emballage.
