Michael Barker has been appointed editor of FPJ. He will take up his new role at the UK’s leading fresh produce business magazine on 7 June.
Barker has worked as a journalist in the food sector for almost 10 years and is fresh foods editor of The Grocer, the UK’s top-selling trade title for the food retail industry. He has also edited Commercial Grower, having previously worked at The Grower and Food Trade Review.
Chris White, managing director of Lockwood Press, said: “I’m delighted that Michael is joining the FPJ. He is a talented journalist with inside knowledge of the UK food retail and fresh produce sectors.”
