Lincoln has been announced as the venue for the upcoming FPJ - East Midlands conference.

The city is in the heart of one of the busiest and most profitable areas for fruit and vegetables in the UK.

The wholesale troubleshooter Nicholas Saphir, Fresh Direct’s David Burns and retail consultant Rob Ward, are set to speak about finding and improving routes to market during the first session of the day, focusing on the East Midlands region as a hub.

Kantar Worldpanel’s director of communications Ed Garner will close the conference by discussing the future of the regional food trend in the multiples.

The event, which will be held at The White Hart in Lincoln on 17 March, will feature four sections, East Midlands: The Hub, East Midlands: Growing and Research, East Midlands: The Brand and East Midlands: The Future.

The event will also include an interactive expo, where delegates can exchange ideas and experience new and up and coming products, and is supported by QV Foods and Select Lincolnshire.
