The Fresh Produce Consortium is revising its pesticides code of practice. It will be finished by the end of 2003 and launched at a conference held in conjunction with Campden & Chorleywood in January.

The FPC has also reissued another publication ñ Gaining Consumer Confidence, which is distributed to the national and local media in order to explain issues such as pesticides. The booklet also gives background information, including seasons and nutritional values, on a wide variety of fresh produce lines.
