Recruitment specialist Redfox has appointed a new fresh produce specialist with experience at Britain’s biggest supermarket - Tesco.
Ian Reed has been appointed as a recruitment consultant specialising in the fresh produce and agriculture sectors both in the UK and overseas.
Reed has more than 15 years fresh produce experience having started his career as an agronomist before working for Tesco for eight years in various senior technical roles within the fresh produce sector.
He left Tesco in 2007 to join Wight Salads Group as their technical director and was recently heavily involved in creating and establishing a brand new fresh produce supplier.
Redfox managing director Max MacGillivray said: “It is great to have an individual of Ian’s obvious calibre on board. It gives us as a business an even better understanding of what clients and candidates are looking for in their relationship with Redfox.
