Foodex Meatex has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Julie Dove as financial controller.
Dove joins Foodex from her role as a financial controller for a group of nursing homes and she has also worked for American Express and Midland Bank.
Foodex chief executive Steve Bax said: "In line with our progressive policies we have extended the role of our financial controller to encompass a more hands on approach to the show. We are delighted to have secured Julie's services and feel sure she will make an excellent addition to the team. She will be involved with the wealth of promotional sponsorship and advertising opportunities that we are introducing this year."
Dove will be based at the company's new offices in Harrogate.
