Shelf-life specialist Food Freshly has opened two new subsidiaries in Dubai and New Delhi as it continues its march into Asia and the Middle East.
Food Freshly Dubai will consist of one sales executive and local warehouse facilities, to ensure closer customer contact and faster distribution in the Middle East and UAE markets. It follows the largest order in company history with a UAE-based hotel chain. The Indian venture includes a head office in New Delhi and distribution centres in all major cities.
The Dubai branch will market freshness retainer formulations, its Fruit Cleaner Antiox, as well as other related dosing services. The firm also plans to debut its process for pre-sanitising, process water disinfection and preservation.
“This is an excellent opportunity for Dubai and Middle East-based clients to adopt our newly developed 3-PPP Concept, which has been based on our PWAM Process Water Analysis Method,” said managing director Sukhdev Singh.
“Under this concept, we provide an innovative, hygienic system. One of the biggest benefits for companies using our system is a saving in water and energy costs as water does not have to be discarded after just one wash.”
As an exhibitor at the recent WOP Dubai event, the firm said it had displayed its US and EU patents to prove that the company’s process does not infringe the patent rights of any existing competitors in the EU, North America, Australia, Japan or Hong Kong.
Food Freshly, which celebrates its 20th anniversary next month, has developed technology to extend the shelf-life of fresh produce using a dipping solution in one of 30 different mineral and vitamin formulations.
