Flowers not previously grown as field crops by FloraLinc’s major supplier are being produced for trials, with the seed sown under Spanish tunnels. The varieties trialled are Antirrhinums, Stocks Oriental Lilies, Ageratum, Zantedeschia Lilies and Aster, novi - belgi types.

Managing director Paul Caddell said FloraLinc is keen to develop new crop lines for its customers and to be competitive in the market place. “All our field crops are harvested cooled and brought direct to the packhouse keeping, quality and flower freshness at it’s best,” he said.
