Holiday company Center Parcs has announced plans to build a fifth UK village. The company, which is a large buyer of fresh produce, would like to invest £160 million in a development at Warren Wood, near Woburn, Bedfordshire and is already in discussion with Mid Bedfordshire District Council and other key bodies.

Center Parcs already has holiday villages at Longleat, Wilts; Oasis Whinfell, Lake District; Sherwood, Notts, and Elveden, Suffolk.

The new site is expected to be completed and open within four years, subject to planning permission.
