Spanish producer and exporter federation Fepex is to develop new, harmonised GAP protocols for the country’s fresh produce sector.
Fepex is in the process of evaluating ways to standardise the range of GAP protocols for each product in a way that is acceptable throughout the supply chain.
A meeting of the Fepex Assembly, in Almería, discussed all aspects of the recently approved CMO of fruit and vegetables.
The assembly includes regional representatives from Valle del Ebro, Levante, Andalucía, Extremadura, Castilla La Mancha and the Canary Islands.
